Digital Investment BuyerThe Digital Investments team is focused on building digital media campaigns that directly deliver upon approved strategies and operationally managing those campaigns from start to finish. They own the digital buying approach and media investment decisions on behalf of our clients.

Description of role:
The Digital Investment Buyer manages the media portfolio and execution of digital media campaigns. They are responsible for the identification, evaluation and negotiation of digital media buys that align with the defined media strategy and goals. They will work closely with the Digital Investment Supervisor to determine media investment allocations and the Digital Investment Assistant buyer to activate programs. They will maintain constant communications with all areas of agency capabilities, including search, social, mobile and programmatic. The successful candidate will contribute to Havas Media's knowledge base by creating and sharing case studies, writing vendor summaries and attending industry events.
Responsibilities:
Manage media portfolio based upon client strategy and goals
Conduct media buying research using standard tools (comScore, Nielsen, etc.)
Write RFPs and send to relevant media vendors
Review proposals and make appropriate investment selections
Conduct negotiations with media sales reps
Present recommendation to clients, as appropriate
Issue and update insertion orders
Organize creative assets according to vendor partner requirements
Implement plan details for trafficking and activation
Evaluate vendors and provide point-of-view papers
Ensure ads are trafficked properly using 3rd party as server tools (DCM/Sizmek/Flashtalking/IAS)
Oversee pacing and status of active campaigns
Monitor campaign performance and recommend necessary optimizations
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in digital media planning and/or buying
Solid understanding of digital landscape
Ability to identify and evaluate digital media opportunities
Experience working with media sales community
Strong computing skills using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrate attention to detail, excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proven experience with digital media platforms is required: DoubleClick DCM, Sizmek, Prisma, Comscore, etc.
Bachelor’s degree
Compensation 60k - 68K
