The Global HNW marketing team executes various strategic initiatives that will ultimately drive profitable growth for our B2B audience. The marketing engagement lead role will operate as a leader, a strategist, and a consultant. She/he will collaborate closely with global teams, especially the Asia RO, to implement critical business initiatives. A successful candidate must be willing to embrace and champion change within the organization, manage competing priorities in an extremely fast-paced environment, execute data-driven decision-making, and deliver on Global HNW marketing projects.

As a Marketing Engagement Lead, a deep understanding of the life insurance industry and its products is crucial. The role’s primary focus will be to develop/execute marketing strategies and devise innovative marketing tactics to boost market awareness and drive sales for Global HNW. This role also involves managing campaigns/promotions as well as various marketing initiatives across digital and traditional platforms and collaborating with various teams to ensure efficient campaign strategy execution, leading to robust sales and pipelines for Global HNW.

The Global HNW Marketing Team, of which the Market Engagement Lead is a key part, is responsible for the strategy and execution of product launches, sales enablement, NPS surveys and distributor communications for Manulife Bermuda, Hong Kong, and Singapore. This team is an integral part of our comprehensive marketing organization, which includes brand, human-centered design, analytics, integrated production, as well as our third-party creative agency, Oliver. Together, these teams collaborate closely to craft our marketing narrative, deliver connected distributor experiences, and demonstrate the business value of marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and measure strategic marketing programs to support Global HNW products, services, and partners

  • Write and present integrated marketing plans for a senior-level management team

  • Recommend and develop appropriate communication vehicles for achieving marketing objectives

  • Creatively and effectively influence all media to drive marketing campaigns; design and execute targeted campaigns utilizing effective email marketing, A/B testing, social influence, digital advertising channels and website experiences

  • Evaluate campaign success using analytics relative to competitor activities and current market conditions

  • Create marketing materials/messaging for new and existing products and programs, ensuring that materials support business goals and marketing strategies

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, often among competing priorities for stakeholders

  • Ensure work is delivered accurately, on time, and within budget

  • Seek continuous improvement of existing processes

  • Develop and maintain relationships across all Global HNW departments, including sales, product, legal, compliance, underwriting, and, where applicable, external distributors, as well as the larger Manulife organization

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in campaign management and, ideally, in the life insurance space, and will be passionate about bringing excitement to these experiences.

    The experience and skills needed include:

    • Minimum of bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, or related field of study

    • 5+ years of experience in a marketing manager or account management role and has experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns

    • Experience in the life insurance industry, products, and concepts a must

    • Quick thinker and decision-maker - provides team confidence and keeps calm in crises and when dealing with unexpected challenges

    • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment, often facing conflicting and overlapping demands

    • Excellent project management, communication, presentation, time management, & writing skills

    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization

    • Analytical and data-driven, leveraging the expertise of the marketing analytics team to assess and optimize past results to inform future decisions

    • Comfortable using and learning new technologies and naturally curious and creative – eagerness to test and learn and possess an owner mindset

    • Experienced with marketing technologies and sales CRMs (Salesforce) to execute marketing, used to assess and optimize complex, highly visible marketing initiatives

Salary range is expected to be between

$60,375.00 USD - $100,625.00 USD
