This role offers the opportunity to lead and coordinate important projects for the global Actuarial community at Manulife, while shaping how our team organizes, receives, and shares information to many stakeholders across the company. The individual will play a key role in ensuring the initiatives stay on track and critical knowledge and resources are accessible, well-structured, and easy for teams to use. By improving project coordination and information management, this position directly supports the team’s ability to execute efficiently and collaborate effectively. The role provides the chance to work across stakeholders, drive meaningful operational improvements, and develop expertise in project leadership and digital collaboration tools. It is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex work and making systems and teams function better.

Position Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Lead and coordinate multiple projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met.

  • Track project progress, identify risks or blockers, and escalate issues when needed.

  • Facilitate meetings, maintain action items, and ensure follow-through from stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain project documentation including plans, status updates, and reports.

  • Develop and support written communications and presentation material

SharePoint / Website Management

  • Maintain and manage the team’s SharePoint site or internal website, ensuring information is organized, accessible, and current.

  • Publish and update content including documentation, announcements, and resources.

  • Improve site structure, navigation, and usability to support team collaboration and knowledge sharing.

  • Monitor site usage and identify opportunities to improve adoption and effectiveness.

Operational Support

  • Develop and maintain standardized processes for documentation, reporting, and knowledge management.

  • Support internal communication through structured content and information management.

  • Identify and implement improvements to workflows, collaboration tools, and team processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, program coordination, or operational roles

  • Willingness and ability to learn subject matter quickly

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Quebec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support our clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An actuarial designation, experience working with actuaries, or experience in life insurance is a plus, but not required

Salary range is expected to be between

$92,900.00 CAD - $142,900.00 CAD
