Job Description
We are seeking an Investment Analyst, Options to join our firm. The primary responsibilities will include the communication of investment strategies with wealth advisors as well as management and implementation of our option strategies. Responsibilities
Communication
o Effectively communicate to advisors the best solution for their client
o Provide analysis on client accounts and portfolio management decisions
Investment Analysis
o Conduct research on portfolio holdings and stay current on stock specific news
o Manage customized client portfolios
o Research and create customized investment solutions for high-net-worth individuals and institutions
Trading
o Implement investment action decisions for the portfolio team
o Monitor account positions daily
o Generate and execute specific account level trades
o Invest new accounts and liquidate terminated accounts
o Rebalance for contributions/withdrawals
o Execute trades in a variety of asset classes including options and equities
o Responsible for the timely and accurate execution of trades throughout the day as submitted by Advisors
o Continuously improve the trading process and procedures to gain efficiencies and improve trade execution
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting required
Graduate degree or working towards the CFA designation is preferred
Skills and Knowledge
Excellent communication skills
1-3 years of investments experience
General knowledge regarding common options strategies
Experience with Bloomberg, Orion, Moxy or other Order/Trade management systems preferred
Proficient in Excel
