As a Senior CSA in Mariner Ultra Operations, you’ll act as a subject matter expert and operational leader, managing the entire client service lifecycle for UHNW relationships — onboarding, account maintenance, money movements, and complex operational support — while ensuring an exceptional advisor and client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the UHNW client experience: Serve as a key point of contact for advisors, clients, custodians, and third-party partners to ensure seamless service across all operational touchpoints, including the onboarding and maintenance of complex client relationships such as trusts, partnerships, and foundations.

  • Oversee daily workflow: Manage inbound client service requests, ensuring adherence to service level standards while proactively communicating status updates.

  • Provide technical expertise: Support advisors and internal teams with guidance on custodial processes, operational requirements, and best practices.

  • Foster custodial relationships: Build and maintain strong partnerships with custodians such as Schwab, Fidelity, and Pershing, efficiently resolving escalations and inquiries.

  • Problem resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex or sensitive issues with minimal oversight, escalating when appropriate.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with investment operations, alternative investments, and tax and planning teams to coordinate and deliver comprehensive client solutions.

  • Maintain operational integrity: Research and resolve NIGOs (Not In Good Order items), execute account maintenance requests, and ensure compliance with internal and custodial policies.

  • Contribute to process improvement: Participate in initiatives to enhance workflow, increase efficiency, and strengthen the UHNW service model.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 5–7 years of experience within the wealth management industry, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience working with ultra-high-net-worth clients is preferred but not required.

  • Proven ability to manage complex workflows and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-first mindset.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.

  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy in all work.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of wealth management operations and custodial platforms (Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, or similar).

  • Familiarity with complex entity types (trusts, partnerships, foundations) and multi-custodial relationships.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM and workflow systems (Elements, Salesforce) preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

  • High level of adaptability, organization, and accountability.

  • Embodies Mariner’s core values: integrity, client focus, humility, and excellence.
