ABOUT YOU
As a Transportation Data Manager, you bring analytical precision and strategic insight to complex transportation challenges, anticipating trends and transforming data into clear, actionable solutions. You combine technical expertise in modeling and reporting with adaptability and problem-solving skills to manage multiple priorities effectively. You communicate with clarity across diverse audiences, fostering collaboration and trust while maintaining a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence in a dynamic environment.
What you will do:
- Monitor and analyze ground transportation activity, including traffic volumes, parking utilization, and transit ridership, while guiding the development of data dashboards.
- Manage passenger surveys and traffic monitoring systems, ensuring accurate data collection, maintenance, and reporting for key ground access metrics.
- Coordinate with transit agencies and internal teams to track performance metrics, update environmental reports, and provide clear, actionable insights from complex data.
- Develop forecasts, apply transportation models, and support planning initiatives that advance multi-modal access, sustainability goals, and long-range transportation strategies.
What you offer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban/Transportation Planning, Economics, Environmental Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in transportation planning; exposure to airport or port authority operations is a plus.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, SPSS, and ArcGIS; familiarity with transportation data platforms and GTFS feeds is advantageous.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to convey technical analyses to non-technical audiences and work effectively on multidisciplinary teams.
