The Marketing Technology organization is seeking an outstanding Project Manager/Scrum Master. This individual will help manage the expansion and growth of our data engineering at MassMutual. The Project Manager will be expected to support the management and tracking of product/program delivery, organization of initiatives, KPIs/metrics, team documentation, and roadmap planning. In addition, the Project Manager will take on broader responsibilities, such as providing input to roadmaps for capacity planning or assisting in consolidating and prioritizing requirements from various groups. The expectation of the Project Manager includes being adept at problem solving, effectively communicating, and having structured thinking.

The Impact
Lead broad scope projects with medium to long-term focus
Ability to manage more than one team(s) in an Agile environment
Engage with all levels across the enterprise managing relationships and expectations
Accountable for managing and driving program/ project execution on time and on budget
Identify, understand, and work to mitigate issues and risks proactively with the project team,business partners, and leadership
Work with technical leads and product managers to plan, develop technical scopes of work,and manage the execution of projects/product changes in response to requirements fromstakeholders
Lead project teams during all phases of the development life cycle including requirementsgathering and analysis, design, build, pilot, implementation and continuous service
Facilitate client and project team interactions including:backlog refinement, daily huddles, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, sprint reviews, incident management and release management
Be self-supportive in collaborating with peers to effectively deliver a robust solution for thebusiness
Drive process within a matrix management setting
Serve as a conduit of knowledge between functional and technical teams
Manage budget, timeline, and scope throughout the course of all assigned projects
Elicit, translate and simplify requirements
Document and organize acceptance criteria for user stories
Coordinating end-to-end testing in partnership with Business Analysts, Product Designers and Quality Assurance Engineers
Work with product managers to define improvements to business processes, assist decisionmakersin gathering information to make decisions, and help quality assurance test solutions
Develop plans for continuous service to support implementation of products
Act as a champion for data analytic capabilities by communicating their benefits and how theycan be implemented
Motivate teams to work together, communicate, and deliver
Navigate ambiguity to deliver results
The Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
6+ years managing and driving the execution of complex projects
3+ years of Agile product delivery experience
3+ years experience with driving the execution of data engineering projects
Project Management Certification (PMP and/or Agile Scrum Master) preferred
Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
The Ideal Qualifications
Expert with project management tools and techniques, such as JIRA, Confluence, Scrum andKanban
Excellent interpersonal communication, conflict management, coordination, and planning skillswith cross-functional teams
Skilled in applying judgment to balance process compliance with achievement of businessobjectives
Experience in/working in partnership with technical roles, such as an engineers, developers,data scientists, etc.
Project leadership experience focused on engaging others in the delivery and execution oftechnical solutions and service deliverables
Ability to assess a project's scope and the team's ability to execute
Outcome oriented with the ability to drill down from the big picture to process details
Ability to communicate objectives, plans, status, and results clearly
Strong leadership skills and influencer
Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and organizations
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
Solid grasp of software technologies and stacks
