The Opportunity
As a Strategy & Delivery Compliance Consultant, you will manage technology for the Compliance & Ethics (C&E) organization. Responsibilities may also include the execution of strategic support functions such as finance, project management, continuous improvement, and change management. The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of solving complex problems, is driven to enable users to succeed, and can build effective stakeholder relationships.
The Team
The Strategy & Delivery Team, as a part of the larger Shared Services Team, supports our internal compliance partners. The team’s focus areas include strategic planning, vendor management, continuous improvement, project management, and operations. We have a mix of technical resources with business knowledge and partner with our peers to deliver and manage exceptional technology-driven solutions to advance the C&E organization.
The Impact
- Building strong and enduring relationships with compliance partners.
- Providing support through knowledge of products, compliance requirements, technical benefits, and limitations.
- Supporting C&E-wide strategic initiatives, including communications, readiness, planning, and roll-out.
- Possessing industry understanding of the services provided, and the technologies/products used.
- Proactively partnering with compliance teams to identify opportunities to enhance compliance programs through vendor solutions, including analyzing and automating manual tasks.
- Serving as technical liaison between compliance partners and vendors while working closely with the business and ETX. This includes enhancements, monitoring SLAs, and production support.
- Responsible for user access management, supporting internal and external audits related to vendor solutions, drafting test plans and conducting user acceptance testing when necessary.
The Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
- 7+ years of experience related to vendor management.
- 3+ years of experience managing complex projects.
- 3+ years of financial services experience.
- Due to the nature of this position, as part of our background check process, candidates must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA.

- Ability to quickly learn new tools and business processes.
- Experience with RFPs and implementing new applications.
- Experience translating business requirements into to technical requirements/solutions.
- Experience with readiness and change management practices.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the workplace.
- Outcome-oriented with the ability to drill down from the big picture to process details.

Salary Range:
$113,100.00-$148,400.00At MassMutual, we focus on ensuring fair equitable pay, by providing competitive salaries, along with incentive and bonus opportunities for all employees. Your total compensation package includes either a bonus target or in a sales-focused role a Variable Incentive Compensation component.
