Influencer Marketing Performance Lead

Location: Dallas, TX, Durham, NC, New York, NY, Los Angeles, CA, Phoenix, AZ

Purpose

The Influencer Marketing Performance Lead serves as the senior technical lead of influencer marketing reporting. Working hand-in-hand with the Director of Strategy, and a team of Influencer Strategists, this individual is responsible for supporting influencer marketing clients in creating strategic influencer campaign recommendations and reporting. Further, the successful candidate must excel in the areas of measurement and performance benchmarking.

A dynamic communicator, you are able to interface with internal and external leaders and be able to deliver influencer marketing analytics insights to various audiences that bridge the gap between raw data and business outcomes. The ability to produce educated influencer marketing decisions and insights steeped in data to help structure the influencer marketing program is key. You will leverage data to create and deliver strategic influencer marketing direction that helps tell the influencer marketing program story.

As the technical point of contact for Influencer Strategy, you will be hands-on with data and your scope of responsibility is highly collaborative with influencer strategy. As such, you will leverage data from the Data & Analytics team to create reports and insights, while also training the team and creating processes to make reporting on performance streamlined and effective.

The successful candidate must also have a strong understanding of paid media analytics and tracking, with experience analyzing media and social data across Meta, YouTube, TikTok, with Snapchat an added bonus. Managing budgets ranging from $100,000 and beyond, the successful candidate will also have a marketing and data background, with deep understanding about paid social, website and performance marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Build, and empower others to build, compelling stories around Influencer campaign performance on both a scheduled and ad-hoc basis. .

  • Communicate to the Data Team what you need to gain the necessary insights.

  • Leverage data from the Data Team to build a variety of reporting formats, including Presentations and Dashboards.

  • Dig beyond surface level data to ask the right questions and pull out strong insights.

  • Work cross-agency and cross-departmentally to align influencer campaign strategies, evolving execution of influencer content, and goals for clients.

  • Understand the needs of various stakeholders to tailor how you communicate Performance.

  • Define, measure, and evaluate KPIs such as impressions/total reach, website traffic, on-site conversion, cost and click performance and ultimately ROI across hard and soft measurement frameworks.

  • Leverage and build pivot tables when necessary.

  • Coordinate boosting strategy in conjunction with influencer strategy leads.

  • Conduct audience and campaign targeting recommendations related to client objectives.

  • Maintain and grow team’s knowledge of industry best practices, as well as statistical and data management technologies related to influencer marketing programs.

  • Improve the process for influencer marketing reporting and influencer campaigns to increase efficiency and effectiveness for both clients and agencies.

  • Collaborate with our Analysts and Influencer Strategy leads on successful digital programs.

  • Ensure quality of work produced is in line with client expectations and ensure we are developing proactive and strategic insights that always provide the “so what.”

  • Think quickly on your feet and answer questions that are thrown our way, often on the spot in online or in-person meetings.

  • Maintain a strong ability to prioritize work and resources based on importance and timeliness.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to fast changing timelines and priorities.

  • Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders and build genuine rapport.

  • Maintain in-platform knowledge for all influencer social channels and stay up-to-date on the latest updates and features.
