Purpose
The Junior Copywriter partners with art director to conceive and design concepts and narratives for various social platforms, presentations, integrated campaigns, and more.

Responsibilities
Copywriting and Concepting
● Works in concert with an Art Director to develop and create great creative concepts and presentation approaches.
● Create exceptional advertising concepts and take responsibility for all copy involved.
● Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials.
● Understand the client’s business, brand, products, and their customers.
● Be adept at varying the voice, style, and other characteristics of messaging based on the industry, company, or target audience
● Stay updated on industry trends and marketing news.
● Present concepts with the Junior Art Director to the Associate Creative Director and Creative Director.
● Report to Associate Creative Director and/ Creative Director on project status.
● Incorporate feedback from Creative Directors, and clients with precision and a positive attitude

Quality Control
● Ensures the quality, craft and implementation of all work done on projects assigned.
● Delivers creative work that is on time, on target and on budget.
● Pays meticulous attention to detail
● Reviews work to ensure accuracy
● Becomes an expert in brand standards

Relationship Management
● Collaborates with writers, strategists, account management, and clients.
● Understands the Client’s business, brand, products and their customers.
● Always leads by example.

Skills
● Experience with Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc.)
● Working knowledge of digital, UX and UI design principals a plus
● Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides
● Experience with content management systems

Experience
Ideal candidate should have up to 1 year of internship and/or work experience as a copywriter. A creative portfolio is required.

Salary Range

Our estimated range for this role is $60K - $75K

Compensation packages are based on the skill level and experience each candidate brings to their role. There may also be a more senior or junior position available that could be a better fit with your expertise. Each level has its own compensation range.
