As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technologist, you will…
Collaborate with internal peers, leadership team, partners, and external stakeholders to implement automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other technology platforms within a client marketing-focused environment. You will create personalized, dynamic messages and landing pages, utilizing coding languages, data configuration, and segmentation. This role manages multiple campaigns, ensures timely and error-free execution, automates email processes, creating templates, provides technical support, and monitors compliance with email legislation.
Be Accountable and Responsible
- Configure marketing automation solutions for clients, including but not limited to develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Oversee email and SMS execution for complex clients, ensuring timely and error-free completion
- Create dynamic, personalized marketing assets using HTML, CSS, and other scripting languages
- Automate email execution processes, activities, and reporting
- Pull, load, create, and manipulate subscriber audiences within the email platform
- Conduct QA/QC tests and seed list sends for email and SMS, troubleshooting issues and assisting with ESP problems
- Communicate with clients to manage expectations, deliverables, and modifications to their marketing automation platform
- Create and document requirements gatherings based on client and project specifications with a high degree of attention to detail
- Interact and work with a broad range of personalities and functions, including the client, business owners, engineers, project operations, quality assurance, and project managers
- Provide platform recommendations for optimizations, utilization, and best-practices for available tools within the email and SMS spaces, as needed or requested by client(s)
These are the qualifications we are looking for
- 5-7 years experience in email marketing and HTML email coding
- 2-3 years of experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud to design, automate, and deploy targeted email marketing campaigns
- 4-5 years experience with ESP coding languages, SQL, and advanced email automation
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Active Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Marketing Specialist certificate, or the ability to obtain it within 3 months of hire
- Proficiency with AMPscript, Email Studio, Data Extensions, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Adobe Photoshop, Figma, Dreamweaver (or similar coding tool) and animated gifs
- Demonstrated ability to change direction in response to changing work situations
- Ability to clearly communicate with clients and internal teams, both written and oral
- Prior consulting experience (in-house or agency) is a plus

The salary range for this role is $66,850 - $80,200, based on the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
