THE ROLE

Using discretion and judgment, works with internal teams to develop, implement and analyze financial information to optimize effectiveness and accuracy as support for the team. Provides analysis, performance measurements to ensure industry competitiveness.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of incentive structures or pricing guidelines. Work collaboratively across departments including Distribution Finance, Legal/Compliance and Human Resources to provide market competitiveness and reporting requirements, and/or competitive and consistent fee proposals, with client fees, transparency challenges, and internal pricing guidelines.

  • Assist with the update of monthly/quarterly management reports, analytics, and insights or analysis on business analytics projects and initiatives. Share results with business stakeholders.

  • Conduct robust analysis on standard pricing and negotiated fees or work with assigned business partners on market data

  • Provides assistance in the development, maintenance, and distribution of business analytics

  • Assist with producing commission exhibits for all new commissioned employees, working with HR and business unit to determine exact commission rates and guarantees, as applicable.

  • Work with appropriate parties to resolve one-off fees, compensation adjustments, or provide explanation of necessary business analytics.

  • Track and maintain relevant and necessary business analytics data.

  • Assists on special projects and assume additional responsibilities as requested.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • Minimum of 5-6+ years of industry and related experience.

  • Preferred accounting/finance background preferred.

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, analytical and organizational skills.

  • Detailed-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet daily deadlines.

  • Knowledge of MFS investment products and vehicles

  • Exceptional computer and Excel skills, focusing on spreadsheet usage, analysis, and excel and modeling skills.

  • Familiarity with appropriate systems – potentially including Salesforce, MicroStrategy and external fee data tools, Financial, Micro Strategy/BI reports, Sales Force, and database management a plus.
