THE ROLE
The Employer Brand Strategist will be responsible for crafting, promoting and stewarding the company's identity as an employer of choice. They will lead marketing and communication efforts aimed at attracting, engaging and retaining top talent, strengthening the company’s brand reputation and fostering a culture of belonging and a committed workforce proud to be part of the company's story and success. Collaborating closely with other internal teams, they ensure the brand, and the employee value proposition (EVP) are seamlessly woven into the hiring process and the internal culture, enhancing the experience across the full employee journey. The ideal candidate will blend marketing and communications savvy with a solid knowledge of people and culture best practices to enhance the company's appeal to potential and current employees.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support and implement MFS’ Employee Value Proposition (EVP) strategy, with supporting KPIs, to grow our employer brand.

  • Lead employer content strategy planning and manage the tactical execution of “Life at MFS” content; work with business partners to plan, create and publish to various platforms (social media, intranet, company website, etc.); manage related editorial calendar.

  • Bring MFS culture of excellence to life through story-telling and updates.

  • Work with key partners in talent acquisition, corporate DEI, various ERGs, corporate citizenship, internal comms, marketing, social media and beyond to design and manage employer brand campaigns, activities and events, including job fairs, ERG events, charitable events, etc.

  • Partner with talent acquisition to develop differentiated marketing materials that communicate the EVP to prospective candidates.

  • Partnering with our ERGs, lead the development of strategic marketing communications plans for larger ERG initiative/events.

  • Serve as point person for key business partners (i.e. ERGs, DEI, corp. citizenship, talent acquisition) for routine marketing requests (creative assets, video support, etc.); provide and support self-service templates where appropriate.

  • Conduct market research to understand trends and opportunities in employer branding.

  • Own, maintain and evolve the “Working at MFS”, DE&I, community impact and other related sections of mfs.com.

  • Implement and oversee a strategic process and design-making framework for prioritizing, tracking, promoting and pursuing industry related awards in the employer brand space.

  • Conceptualize, develop and implement innovative and comprehensive internal educational campaigns that align with the company's strategic priorities and help educate and engage employees.

  • Lead the monitoring and governance of third-party employer sites, ensuring the MFS employer brand resonates positively.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in communications and/or marketing roles.

  • Experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing, HR comms or similar role; Strong understanding of employer branding concepts and trends.

  • Experience developing vision and long-term strategies and the roadmap required to bring them to life.

  • Proven ability to lead complex multi-pronged communication plans and campaigns.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to navigate stakeholder expectations and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proactive, engaged and a self-starter.

  • Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Strong follow up on priorities; anticipates next steps and takes action.

  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
