Full job description

Full-Time Video Editor/Director

If you're the kind of editor who notices everything - a frame slightly off, a cut that lands a hair too late, a color grade that needs one more tweak-and you take pride in delivering work that's polished, intentional, and client-ready every time, you'll feel right at home here. We’re looking for a Video Editor/Director who can balance creative vision with flawless execution, managing multiple projects without sacrificing quality or missing a deadline. If you have a proven ability to independently direct and edit standout, client-ready videos, we want to hear from you and see your work.

MK3 Creative is an award-winning creative services agency in Boston, specializing in video storytelling; check out our work at mk3creative.com. In this role, you’ll work with our in-house Creative Directors to shape ideas and bring them to life from start to finish. You’ll also partner with producers and account managers on some of the biggest brands, including Bank of America, State Street, and W.B. Mason. We want someone who’s ready to go and eager to grow!

This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of two in-office days each week at our Charlestown Navy Yard, MA location.

Ability to work independently and manage all phases of production - from concept development to final delivery.

Expertise managing post-production workflows, including color correction, sound editing and visual enhancements.

Ability to bring fresh creative ideas to every project and elevate each edit beyond the initial brief.

Experience collaborating with motion designers to bring animation into your projects.

Strong work ethic with a drive to meet deadlines and maintain close attention to detail.

Ability to identify opportunities and prioritize content based on an editorial calendar.

Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.

Positive attitude and ability to take direction.

Must be able to speak English fluently.

Conducting remote record interviews using vMix software (training provided).

Manage post-production workflows ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.

Maintain organized project files, for efficient project transfers, storage and backups.
