Job Summary

The Associate Sales Executive is responsible in assisting the Sales Executive for Specialty Products in all new business and renewal activities.

This is a hybrid role - supporting Maine, New Hampshire and Rhode Island

Key Responsibilities/Duties – what you will be doing

  • Provides support to Specialty Products sales executive in all new business sales and renewal activities
  • Completes all intake forms for quoting and implementing Specialty Products.
  • Manages account set up for products within the Sales Automation tools according to established departmental guidelines.
  • Acts as liaison between member, clients, brokers and Point32Health internal departments to reach resolution of any Specialty Products escalated service issues.
  • Accompany Sales Executive to broker meetings to build and maintain strong partnerships
  • Perform out-of-the-box thinking, collaborate with others, and make a difference every day! (Same for all job descriptions.)

Education, Certification and Licensure

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Broker’s license required within 90 days of hire

Experience (minimum years required):

  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in finance or in the healthcare benefits industry working for a group, insurance carrier, broker or general agency preferred.

Skill Requirements

  • Knowledge of group insurance. Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Must be able to follow directions, be detailed, organized and resourceful.
  • Ability to work under extreme pressure (tight deadlines & juggling multiple projects simultaneously).
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Working Conditions and Additional Requirements (include special requirements, e.g., lifting, travel):

  • Must be able to work under normal office conditions and work from home as required.
  • Work may require simultaneous use of a telephone/headset and PC/keyboard and sitting for extended durations.
  • May be required to work additional hours beyond standard work schedule.
