Lead Business Process Analyst

About the Role


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Business Process Analyst to join our team of analysts in optimizing our business processes and systems. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, the Lead Business Process Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing efficiency, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead efforts to analyze existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

  • Identify, design and recommend systems (business applications) optimizations and configurations to meet the functional requirement and/or process objective

  • Continuously maintain a working knowledge base of systems capabilities, cross-referenced against process capabilities and the enterprise data catalog, keep up to date with core systems roadmaps, and the latest in industry trends.

  • Partner with the enterprise Applications team; support the roadmap for application and process capability improvements and deployment.

  • Utilize data-driven insights to drive decision-making and process improvements across departments.

  • Champion the adoption of best practices and standard methodologies in business process management.

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs and translate them into actionable process improvements.

  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, define workflows, and implement process changes effectively.

  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of process improvements.

  • Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.

  • Partner with the IT PMO team in the planning, execution, and delivery of initiatives and projects, providing support and oversight on time, within scope, and within budget

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress of business process improvement initiatives.

The skills you’ll bring include:

  • Preferred bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience (X+ years) in business process and systems analysis.

  • Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting processes, including but not limited to Financial Planning and Reporting, Procurement, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Tax, Audit, etc.

  • Solid understanding of process improvement methodologies such as BPM, Agile, or similar frameworks.

  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

  • Experience in enterprise-wide and functional area program management, project management, change management, and implementing enterprise-wide initiatives.

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
