Account Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager in our International Corporate team. We operate out of Cardiff, but the position can be completed remotely.

As an Account Manager you will manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. From onboarding new clients, coordinating with internal teams, to maintaining ongoing relationships, you'll be the key point of contact. You'll also help protect what we have and generate growth through upselling and cross-selling additional services with existing clients.

We provide full training, so even if you're new to client relationship management, we can get you up to speed. Even though you'll be comfortable working independently, you'll be part of a supportive team with dedicated technical and managerial support.

Along with client visits, we are happy for your base to be a balance of our offices and your home.

The skills you will have when you apply:

Exceptional communication acuity: Able to convey intricate information to clients, contractors and associated parties with precision, articulating complex matters in a manner that secures equitable agreements for all involved

Relationship cultivation: Able to sustain and deepen relationships—both direct and indirect—that influence the breadth of this multifaceted marketplace.

Strategic partnership development: Able to construct and maintain effective alliances with key stakeholders across the International and Global business environments.

Analytical communication capability: Confident in conveying MI support, drawing upon the expertise of the Business Analysis team and the full suite of Sedgwick platforms.

Advanced problem‑resolution competence: Skilled in diagnosing issues efficiently, safeguarding established value, stimulating growth through upselling and cross‑selling, and challenging prevailing norms to secure superior outcomes for clients, their customers and Sedgwick.

Rigorous time‑management discipline: Capable of organising weekly schedules independently, prioritising concurrent client demands, meeting deadlines, and overseeing multiple accounts simultaneously.
