Overview:

The Senior Project Manager (PM) develops and ensures standard content and processes are available for use across assigned projects/initiatives. The Sr. PM leverages strong communication skills and knowledge of process improvement methodologies and project planning to ensure success.

The Sr. PM will demonstrate proficiency in project management tasks, strategies, and tools. They will develop tooling and processes leveraged across our program by our broader project team and educate the team accordingly. They will also assist with identifying and acting on areas for process improvement. The Sr. PM will be able to operate in the role independently, within defined policies and procedures. They will be self-motivated and self-starters to drive assigned projects to completion.

Responsibilities of a Senior Project Manager:

  • Create and manage a project plan and schedule for assigned projects.
  • Manage multiple, complex projects concurrently and successfully.
  • Will work on multiple development projects simultaneously and prioritize work to meet adapting deadlines.
  • Successfully deliver projects to agreed-upon scope, within scheduled dates, and at or under project financials/cost.
  • Provide high-quality status reporting on a regular cadence and be able to present to high level executives and other project stakeholders.
  • Leverage experience with Microsoft SharePoint sites and lists, or aptitude to proactively learn with self-paced training, to guide project management tooling/collateral storage strategies.
  • Recognize areas in need of process improvements, develop a plan to address, and implement improvements that are efficient, sustainable and repeatable.
  • Facilitate/Manage meetings related to assigned task(s)/project(s) to ensure alignment on design and key integration points with applicable teams and define and drive next steps to completion.
  • Conduct business analysis and consultation with stakeholders based on quantitative and qualitative data, as appropriate.
  • Document business and/or functional requirements and facilitate review meetings.
  • Field requirements and tooling/collateral questions from engineers, leadership, team, clients, and all other stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project risks, driving mitigation/resolution strategies and escalating, as appropriate.
  • Indirectly coach other team members and support prioritization of their priorities, objectives, and daily work tasks, when needed.
  • Ensure all training and process collateral for applicable areas is current and accurate.
  • Mentor and coach junior project managers.
  • Cultivate and maintain internal customer relationships to achieve business objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 5+ years of total combined completed higher education and related work experience including:
  • Ability to successfully complete the Federal Security Clearance process applicable for the position.
  • Experience with process mapping tools.
  • Experience in the following software or aptitude to proactively learn with self-paced training: Digital.ai Agility (VersionOne), Confluence, Microsoft SharePoint (sites/lists).
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel skill, using functions (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, etc.) with confidence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail when creating process documentation using Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, etc.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity in project planning and delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • At least 1 year of healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, project/program management, client relationship management and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
  • At least 6-7 years of completed higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle Health Consulting and/or Federal deployment methodology.
  • High Level Oracle Health Product and Workflow Knowledge.
  • Experience in healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI).

Other Expectations:

  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to an already virtually approved location.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be willing to travel occasionally, as needed.
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $81,700 to $166,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
