US: Hiring Range in USD from: $169,800 to $355,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of AI-powered database applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

Data Systems Software Development
Drive group-level architecture for customer-facing platforms on Oracle Database (multi-region analytics, low-latency APIs).
Standardize experiment design and metric taxonomies to link features to revenue, adoption, and retention.
Lead re-platforming or data strategy initiatives that unlock new monetization or growth vectors.
Architect existing and innovative new services.
Software Development and Coding – Design, Testing, and Optimization
Steer strategic decision-making processes to design software solutions and identify and analyze requirements.
Write and define foundational code for new projects or prototypes.
Adhere to and improve execution of all phases of the software development lifecycle; coach and define best practices across teams or units to drive improvements.
Act as a thought leader within the organization to drive the development of new software features and enhancements. Ensure accessibility, and develop documents to clarify software design and code.
Lead and drive improvements in process, architecture, and code reviews across products/services.
Utilize strategy and innovation in debugging and troubleshooting to identify and fix highly complex and/or ambiguous software issues.
Utilize a proactive and visionary approach to define and influence all levels of software testing (e.g., functional and non-functional), quality assurance processes, observability, proof of concepts and feasibility.
Innovate methods to conduct performance profiling and optimization of products/services.
Resolve or re-architect highly complex and systematic issues related to API functionality and integration.
Execute advanced solutions to implement API versioning, lifecycle, and interoperability strategies.
Software Architecture – Software System Structural Design
Influence and support the design and development of software, systems, and services.
Define project or design scope; review, influence, and approve scope and design recommendations.
Serve as a trusted advisor to provide technical guidance, domain expertise, and coaching in software architecture decisions and best practices, including evolving industry standards.
Conduct highly complex periodic reviews and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to align and build software architecture with business and/or customer goals and priorities.
Implement modern/emerging performance optimization and scalability strategies.
Conduct regular technology research and evaluation for architectural enhancements with long-term organizational impact.
