The Digital Solution Delivery organization at TJX focuses on the customer-driven experiences across the globe, including all of our eCommerce domains, mobile apps, loyalty programs, in-store digital experiences, and more. We are builders and innovators extending TJX's renowned treasure hunt experience to new audiences and fans.

This Quality Assurance Analyst III position is on one of our Digital Core teams. You will support all testing requirements for a SAFe agile team through the entire software development life cycle (SDLC) to deliver features and enhancements to our Merchandizing & Order Management applications. Core responsibilities include analyzing requirements, meeting with the Business Partners and Product Management teams for discussions, testing demos, developing test strategies and scripts, hands on in execution, coordinating execution of all testing activities within the team, partnering with automation engineers to prioritize automation backlog for the core application space, actively participating in all scrum ceremonies, preparing for, and supporting production releases, and working across teams as needed.

You will enable optimal team performance on this fast-paced team by ensuring that the testing for features, epics and production issues is planned and executed efficiently and clearly communicated with team. The QA Analyst leads estimation efforts for testing, coordination with offshore teams, and the usage of automation to ensure the team commitments are achievable, the business requirements are met, and the team is performing optimally.

This role has wide-ranging partnerships, working day-to-day with scrum masters, product owners, and solution delivery managers. There will also be close collaboration with other teams, like Architecture, Integration Services, Security, Warehouse Management, back-end core teams, as well as our Digital business partners who set the vision and direction for our digital properties.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4-5 years as a QA Analyst/Engineer within dedicated agile teams using industry standard QA tools
  • Proven success as a self-starter, eager to continue growing and learning demonstrated in a highly collaborative, matrix environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, tailoring to audiences
  • Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively and apply problem solving, critical thinking skills
  • Well versed in database validation techniques with the ability to write queries, understand database architecture and incorporate data validation/mining into test activities
  • Domain knowledge in Retail E-Commerce, Merchandising, Order Management business work flows and experience in working on any or the OMS platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with BDD Framework /Cucumber
  • Knowledge of at least 1 of each: programming language (e.g. Java, C# etc.), scripting language (JavaScript, PowerShell, bash etc.) & database query language (SQL etc.)
  • Experience with API & Integration testing and toolsets (Apigee, postman, SOAPUI, REST Assured, etc.)
  • Experience developing or maintaining automated scripts in preferred toolsets (Selenium, Appium)
