Logistics Analytics Manager – Marlborough, MA

Job Summary:

The Logistics Analytics Manager is responsible for driving strategic activities, evaluating TJX’s supply chain capacity planning, and logistics network. The Logistics Analytics Manager will independently, and in partnership with Logistics leaders, identify strategic opportunities that enable the execution of TJX’s logistics strategy. The Logistics Analytics Manager will perform and require the following:

  • Have an understanding of TJX’s logistics network and associated data structure
  • Lead a team of analysts to provide analytical support
  • Implement strategic initiatives and solutions across the logistics organization

Major Areas of Responsibility & Activities:

  • Leads and delivers strategic business initiative assessments through planning, strategy development, business case creation, modeling and scenario planning, operational assessments and improvements
  • Executes the benefits realization effort around critical logistics initiatives to determine the benefit, track the results, and provide appropriate context to key stakeholders
  • Proactively analyzes logistics data to identify trends and areas of future improvement to consistently scope cost savings and capacity planning initiatives
  • Performs analytical and data modeling related to scenario planning along with what-if analysis and ad-hoc analysis requests
  • Develops analytics to support strategic decision making across the organization
    • Coordinates inputs and assumptions across stakeholders, educates on impact of assumptions, and provides expertise to determine the most effective approach
    • Ensures data accuracy and modeling techniques to produce desired outcome
    • Communicates results into clear and concise presentation materials inclusive of appropriate visuals that can be shared with key stakeholders
  • Develops capacity models, maintains weekly capacity plans, and shares key updates and recommendations with stakeholders
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of Logistics’ footprint inclusive of facilities, providers, and carriers
  • Manages, coaches, and mentors direct reports for successful execution of day to day responsibilities
  • Oversees performance and professional development of direct reports for future growth within the organization

Minimal Skills / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required, Advanced Degree Preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations of Finance
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Experience in analytics story-telling
  • Experience leading and developing a team
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Strong technical aptitude (ex. Excel, SQL, Access, PowerBI)
  • Understanding of Logistics, Supply Chain, and Financial KPIs
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple workstreams concurrently in a fast-paced environment
  • Track record of learning and developing new analytical skills and technical knowledge in a dynamic setting

This position has a starting salary range of $90,200 to $115,200 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
