Focuses on energy data to identify inefficiencies and drive cost saving opportunities. This role is a key contributor in the company’s overall carbon reduction strategy. By using insights from the Energy Management and Information System (EMIS), the Analyst will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of energy management principles, and a proactive approach to achieving measurable outcomes.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Analyzes energy, BMS/EMIS data, and trends holistically to drive comprehensive portfolio-wide adjustments.
- Prioritize opportunities with the greatest impact on the portfolio focusing on thermal comfort, energy efficiency, and cost.
- Collaborates with peers, recommends implementation of systemic improvements to optimize efficiency throughout managed portfolio.
- Develop standard procedures to create, track and validate work-orders in CMMS and EMIS to address savings opportunities.
- Establish and implement data modeling processes focused on tracking established measurement and verification parameters.
Who We Are Looking For: You.
- Trade school or Associate’s degree or proven experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of similar experience.
- Demonstrated technical/analytical proficiency.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, including a high level of attention to detail and a desire to motivate change.
- CMMS experience preferred.
- Ability to react quickly with requests for ad-hoc reporting, incorporating a variety of parameters.
- Proficient Excel skills required, including formula creation.
- Demonstrated self-starter with inquisitive nature and propensity toward problem solving.
- Strong aptitude, Microsoft Office suite, including but not limited to: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and experience presenting to senior management
- Strong follow up and organizational skills
