We’re looking for a passionate, energetic, and positive Copywriter to join the in-house creative team for TJ Maxx. You’ll be responsible for translating briefs into compelling, on-brand, and strategically driven creative. You’ll use your proven talent and conceptual thinking to communicate our brand message in a fresh, forward-thinking way.

Who We Are Looking For: You.
- With supervision and direction from ACDs and CDs, partner with designers to concept and create compelling copy and content for organic and paid social, retail, email, and site, in accordance with the TJ Maxx brand strategy, tone of voice, and visual ID
- Take initiative to understand business needs and marketing requirements to create breakthrough copy and content that’s relevant, authentic, and tailored to each channel
- Collaborate with designers, brand partners, and project management to effectively meet project objectives, schedules, and deadlines
- Receive constructive, business-driven feedback in a positive manner and adapt messaging accordingly and on schedule
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fellow creative team members and brand/channel partners
Qualifications
- 1+ years of related work experience at an internal or external agency (internships and co-ops included)
- BA in English, Communications, or similar degree or equivalent experience
- An amazing online portfolio of your work (this one’s non-negotiable) – please make sure to include your portfolio in your application!
- Ability to translate creative briefs into thoughtful, compelling creative based on project objectives
- Proven ability to effectively present work to creative team, creative leaders, and brand partners
- A truly collaborative nature and a focus on fostering strong copy-design partnerships
- Self-motivation and strong time management skills, plus the ability to juggle multiple projects with overlapping deadlines
- Impeccable grammar, spelling, and attention to detail, coupled with a love for serial commas
- Previous/some experience writing for social, digital, retail and/or print pieces a plus!
- Passion for fashion
This position is hybrid and requires 2+ days per week in the office in Framingham. It is not open to remote.
