Associate Creative Director, Design

As an integral member of the Marketing Team, the Associate Creative Director of Design will uphold and evolve Sierra’s brand standards. You’re both a visionary and a doer: able to set the creative bar, mentor a team of designers, and roll up your sleeves to bring ideas to life. Who We Are Looking For: You.
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing and cross-channel partners to deliver high-quality, strategy-driven campaigns that support a fast-paced, multi-channel “off-price” retail business.
- Partner daily with the Brand Marketing team to develop performance-driven, customer-centric content.
- Develop integrated campaigns across channels—including site content, homepage assets, email, social, video, and in-store signage—ensuring consistent brand alignment.
- Manage the day-to-day workflow of the in-house design team and oversee multiple projects with varying timelines and complexity.
- Partner with Brand Marketing and Content Production teams to plan and direct photo shoots, including stylist direction, photographer collaboration, and location logistics.
- Present creative work and articulate design decisions effectively to collaborators and respond positively to constructive feedback.
- Mentor and inspire the design team, supporting both professional growth and creative excellence.
- Foster an open, collaborative environment where diverse perspectives are valued and encouraged.
Qualifications
- BFA in Graphic Design, equivalent degree, or relevant professional experience
- 8+ years of progressive design experience
- A strong design portfolio (this is a requirement, please make sure to include your portfolio or a link to your portfolio in your application!)
- Expertise in Photoshop; proficiency across Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven ability to manage multiple large-scope projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience managing and developing a team of designers
- Background in collaborating with creative agencies
- Multi-channel retail experience strongly preferred
- Experience in both digital and print design a plus
This position is hybrid requiring at least two days per week in the Framingham, MA office and is not open to remote.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
